Bharathi Yoga is a complex yoga which involves ninth house in Main Chart(D-1 Chart). It also involves Navamsha Chart. For Bharathi Yoga to happen one must analyze the placement of second house lord, fifth house lord as well as eleventh house lord in Navamsha Chart. Below three combinations leads to Bharathi Yoga in horoscope:

1. The lord of Navamsha sign where second lord is placed must be exalted and placed with ninth lord in Main Chart.
2. The lord of Navamsha sign where fifth lord is placed must be exalted and placed with ninth lord in Main Chart.
3. The lord of Navamsha sign where eleventh lord is placed must be exalted and placed with ninth lord in Main Chart.

To simplify it further one must check if there is exalted planet with ninth house lord in Main Chart(D-1 Chart). If there is none than no point looking at Navamsha Chart as Bharati Yoga won't form. If by chance there is an exalted planet as co-tenant of ninth lord one can look at Navamsha Chart. Check the Navamsha sign/signs owned by exalted planet. There must be lord of second house, fifth house or eleventh house from Main Chart placed in it for Bharathi Yoga to happen.
