Dwadashi is the twelfth tithi ruled by Aditya/Vishnu. Dwadashi is not ideal for marriage especially when Moon is 6/12 houses away from Sun. Dwadashi is more ideal for religious activities and for commencing new work. Dwadashi is ideal for building and creating new stuff, house entering and buying new vehicles. Dwadashi is associated with Aditya(Sun) who is known to sustain and nurture life.
