Navami is the ninth tithi. This tithi should be avoided for marriage, starting business and other auspicious activities. This tithi is also less ideal for going on journeys and travels. This tithi along with regular prayers to Goddess Durga/Amba can grant victory over enemies and wrong doers. This is also an ideal tithi to get back into shape by doing intense physical workouts. Navami in Krishna Paksha is somewhat suitable for career and networking activities.
